Vinyl Fence Installation
When you are buying vinyl fence you have a few options when it
comes to vinyl fence installation. You can have a contractor or a landscaper do it for you or you can do it yourself.
Contractor/Landscaper
When you hire a contractor or landscaper you will be paying a premium price but you will have the fence installed professionally so you don’t
have to worry about doing it yourself or having it done poorly. Contractors are going to have more experience with installing the fence but the
landscaper may be the better choice.
The contractor will put the fence up quickly and be on his way. He/she will also probably try to sell you additional fence parts and additional
fence services (especially if he or she is from the same company you bought the fence from).
The landscaper is a different beast altogether when it comes to vinyl fence installation. The landscaper will have a few advantages over the
contractor. The landscaper may not have as much experience putting that particular type of fence up but they will have a better idea of how to
make the fence look aesthetically pleasing in your yard. They can figure out how to best set up your fence so that it takes maximum advantage of
the visual aspects of your lawn.
They can also provide additional services you may need like adding shrubbery, flowers, or bushes around the fence that they are installing.
Also, landscapers are more adept at providing long term personal service than the contractors.
The contractor will more than likely install the fence and be gone forever. A landscaper develops relationships with his or her customer that
lasts a very long time so the customer service aspect will be better with a landscaper.
Vinyl Fence Installation Yourself
Putting up vinyl fencing yourself is not a difficult chore. You need measuring tape, a level, post hole digger, concrete, and a concrete mixer.
The first step is to measure where you want your fence. Then you dig the post holes. Make sure they are measured properly. You want them spaced
apart and at the same depth so the fence is perfectly even when you put it in the ground.
After you have the holes dug you can insert the fence. Once again make sure that it is perfectly even and in the exact spot that you want it.
Then all you have to do is mix the concrete and pour it.
Vinyl fence installation should be done right so make sure you do your research and get it done properly.
