Install Vinyl Fencing
You have several options when it comes to how to install vinyl
fencing. You can do it yourself (which isn’t as hard as you think it is) or you can hire a contractor to do it for you (which isn’t as expensive
as you think it is).
Hiring A Contractor
When you want to put in a vinyl fence and you either don’t have the time to do it yourself or you simply don’t want to install it yourself then
you have the option to have the fence installed by a professional fence contractor.
You can find most contractors in your local yellow pages. Also you can check online as many contractors are now lisitng their own pages (and some
may even list quotes). What you need to do to save the most money and get the best work done is to call each and every contractor’s number you
find an get a price quote for the work that needs to be done. Also what you need to do is contact some previous clients of the contractors.
Simply ask them to provide a reference or two for you to call. This is to guarantee that they can do the work they are promising. If they fail to
provide you with a reference then move on because they shouldn’t have to hide anything.
Make sure any contractor you hire guarantees his work. Get everything, and I mean everything in
writing. Get all the work he’s going to do and all the materials he’s going to need with an approximate total for all the work on paper. You
don’t want any surprises as you go along.
Install Vinyl Fencing Yourself
This is not as hard as you think and you can actually get this done in a day. You need a post hole digger, measuring tape, string, a level,
concrete and a concrete mixer (or a bucket to mix the concrete in yourself).
First measure where you want to put the fence. Secondly dig the holes. Make sure you measure the holes correctly or you’re in trouble (measure
the width between the posts and the depth of the holes – you want everything to be equal or your fence will be crooked). Thirdly you want to put
the fence together and then stick it in the holes. Make sure everything looks fine and everything is even on all sides. Then pour the concrete.
Let the concrete sit overnight and you’re done.
These are your options when you want to install vinyl fencing.
