How To Install Vinyl Fence
Are you a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) kinda guy or gal and you’re
wanting to know how to install vinyl fence? Congratulations if you are because you’re going to learn how to save hundreds of dollars by skipping
the contractor and putting the fence up yourself.
Putting up a vinyl fence yourself is much easier than it sounds. And you should be happy that you went with vinyl in the first place. Why?
Because it is much easier to install than any other types of fence. Why is that? Because it is lighter and easier to manipulate when installing,
that’s why.
When you receive your vinyl fence you probably noticed or will notice that the fence is fully formed. You do not need to know how to cut it to
finish it before installation. It is essentially ready to be installed.
You will need to put the panels together. This is no problem. Once you begin the installation process you will see how easy it is and that not
having the panels together is no big deal.
When learning how to install vinyl fence you should know you will need some basic tools to complete this job:
-The Vinyl Fence Panels that you purchased
-The gate for the vinyl fence that you purchased
-Concrete to pour to keep the fence in the ground
-A mixer for the concrete
-A shovel for digging
-String
-A level for making sure the fence is in the ground level
First step when learning how to install vinyl fence is digging the holes to put the fence into.
The holes that you dig into the ground should be measured. You want to make sure that they are precise and in the same place you want your fence
to be.
Now begin inserting the fence into the holes you dug. Continue until you have the entire fence put into the holes.
Once you finish with inserting the fence into the holes you want to begin pouring the concrete: IMPORTANT NOTE—make sure the fence is in the
exact location that you want it. Make sure it’s level and even. You do not want to pour the concrete if your fence isn’t where you want it or
it’s not level.
When learning how to install vinyl fence you should know that once the concrete is poured you’re finished! All you have to do now is wait for the
concrete to dry and your new vinyl fence is up and making your lawn sparkle now and for years to come.
