Do It Yourself Vinyl Fencing

Do it yourself vinyl fencing is not as difficult as it sounds. You can create the perfect atmosphere on your property by installing some beautiful vinyl fencing.

Also when you do it yourself you’re going to save tons of money. Most contractors would charge you close to a thousand dollars and it’s just not worth it. Putting in vinyl fence yourself is not a difficult chore. In fact the way that the fence is made it is much easier than any other type of fence to install.

When you receive your vinyl fence that you purchased online or at the home improvement store you immediately see why vinyl was a good choice because you don’t have to assemble the fence yourself. It doesn’t require any cutting or anything other than snapping together a few pieces here and inserting a few pieces there.

Do It Yourself Vinyl Fencing

You’re going to need a few supplies to do the vinyl fence installation properly. You need to have a level, measuring tape, a shovel, a post hole digger, a string, concrete, and a concrete mixer.

First and foremost figure out exactly where you want your fence to go. Then go ahead and measure where you want to dig the post holes. Once you have that measurement perfect then you want to dig the holes. It is important that you also measure the depth of the post holes so that the posts are all level and your fence isn’t crooked.

Once you finished digging all the post holes then you should begin putting your fence together. Most vinyl fences come with very clear and precise directions so putting one together should be a snap.

When doing do it yourself vinyl fencing you’ll now take each section of your fence and put it into the corresponding fence post hole. Do this until you have the entire fence in place. Double check the measurements of the post holes (and the height) because you want to make sure the entire thing is even and level.

Now you want to mix your concrete. Read the directions on the concrete bag very carefully. You do not want to make mistakes here. Use the concrete mixer to mix the concrete or if you are going to do it by hand mix it in a bucket. You can rent a concrete mixer from a local agency.

Now pour your concrete. Each concrete has a different drying time so you’ll probably have to wait at least 24 hours before it’s completely dry.

That’s it! That’s all there is to do it yourself vinyl fencing.
